Casa Mia - Miami Beach

Very good and clean hotel. Size of room was sufficient for business trip! Can’t wait to return with my family for a nice vacation!

We stayed at the Casa Boutique hotel just a few days ago. We were impressed with the room. However, the bathroom shower was not working. In spite of letting the receptionist know, he did not do anything about it for the entire duration we were staying. He just lied that we will be sending someone soon but no one came in 4 days ! The AC was dripping water all over our shoes.We can still live with that but the most surprising thing happened after we returned from our vacation. They charged our credit card without any notice for the coffee ! They didn 't even send us a receipt even though they promised to do so while checking out. We were shocked ! First of all the receptionist while checking in did not let us know that the coffee is also included in the MINIBAR. Come on ! From when is coffee a 'BAR ' item and if it is let us know which they cunningly didn 't. We have been travelling for a decade now in the States and this is the first time to our utter shock that the coffee pods are not complimentary to the room ! Now what they will start charging for the soaps and shampoo and towels.Just be sure guys, Casa Boutique can put some unexpected charges to your card after you are back from your vacation. A good experience spoiled by such SCAM ! WHAT A SHAME ! I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Mixed emotions about this place, mostly negative though.pros: clean sheets, comfy bed, great location, mini fridge.cons: hallways reek of mold, room in disrepair, nobody answers the phone.The lobby smells good, but once you get into the hallways for the rooms the whole place feels humid and reeks of mold fumes. all the AC vents were dripping water. There was also a spot on the floor right next to my bed where it was obvious the carpet had been previously ripped up and the whole spot was wet. Seems like maybe a pipe leak in the floor or something. This was confirmed by the paint bubbling and water damage on the bathroom door.Also one of the walls of my first floor room was against one of the kitchen walls for the restaurant and all i heard until 1am was super loud banging and noise. couldn’t sleep until they closed up and left for the night.We won’t be returning and i can’t recommend staying here.

Beautiful experience! The hotel is clean and well located! Great size room and excellent service! We all enjoyed our stay!
