The pizza and Italian beer were fantastic! My husband and I shared the crudo pizza, topped with prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato sauce (which tasted like the authentic Italian version, though I'm no expert), and arugula. The beer was served ice-cold. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Italian cuisine. The menu is extensive, offering options from breakfast to dessert. View all feedback.
What Destini Effertz doesn't like about Caffe Italia Miami Beach:
Slow service, underwhelming food and roughly overpriced. I ordered the bagel with avocado and hard boiled egg $9.50) and got this monstrosity. Bagel was dry and chewing, and I didn't even get a whole egg. Sent it back and it seems they had no finished boiled eggs so they offered a scrambled egg, I agreed. They brought out the same bag with a simple egg. At the end they took it off the bill, but the whole Ordeal over... View all feedback.
Excellent food and service. We had the whole red snapper and seafood risotto. If you order two entrees, give you a bottle of wine for free! Even better if I paid the bill, they said no tip required!
Great pizza and Italian beer! We got the Crudo pizza (divided between my husband and I), which was with Prosciutto, Mozzarella, tomato sauce (searched me as an authentic Italian version, but I'm not an expert) and Arugula. Beer was very cold. Would recommend to everyone to appreciate the Italian cuisine. (The menu is large with option from breakfast to dessert)
Great service, we went back twice during our week vacation and the servers remembered us and were very friendly and quick. Fair prices for the area. The caprese paninis, pastries, and coffee were excellent and perfect portions. Super cute decor and a nice quiet atmosphere. Why anyone would go to Starbucks when they could go here is beyond me!
Slow service, underwhelming food and grossly overpriced. I ordered the bagel with avocado and hard boiled egg $9.50) and got this monstrosity. Bagel was dry and chewy, and I didn’t even get a whole egg. Sent it back and it appears they had no ready boiled eggs so they offered a scrambled egg, I agreed. They brought out the same stale bagel with an over easy egg. In the end they took it off the bill but the whole ordeal took over 45 minutes. My advice: Skip it. It’s not worth your time or money.
The people were nice but the food was less than desirable. I never give businesses a single star but this was deserving of it. We ordered the breakfast option that was advertised out front. We legitimately got Eggo waffles and microwave pancakes. Even when asking for hot syrup or cheese on the eggs, the people seemed to be confused. Very possible that it was a language barrier, but it just was not a great experience for us. It took one hour for our food to come out to us, but it was very basic. There was nothing special about our order that would warrant such a wait. Even when it came out, my eggs and toast were cold. This just didn’t do it for me.
