Rifugio Orti 1900 is a nice chalet: you can find nice food (seriously, I had the best Tagliata of my life), very nice people but most of all the location is something magic: you can see the alps just turning your head. I do not understand how this place gets great reviews. We stopped for a drink and lunch mid march (self service). As we entered, the waitress at the bar was neither welcoming nor friendly. As I made an effort to speak Italian, she showed a kind of disrespectful expression on her face. No smile whatsoever.The food was average. The toilets were disgusting, not flushed. Great pasta, wine and service. Perfect place for a hungry skier. Definitely worth visiting when in Folgarida/madonna.

In this resto I was already 4times. Now it is new and also there are new chef. Food is so delicios!!! We had order Raviolli and piato tipico- it is dear (game) with polenta- so delicios, without trying you could not live. Also raviolli with dear!!! And classic italien food spaghetti di carbonara are so good. I can tell this is after long time food that is better then I coul do at home!!! i do not have to meantion the offer of local wine and prosecco!! Also the service is excelent. I plan to return again asap!!!Go there and try it.
In a bit cool party benches, little substance, looks like a hall, sounds also so, eat well
Top refuge with à la carte cuisine! delicious dishes of excellent quality! recommended!
