The area surrounding is being developed into an upper class area of New Mexicali. Restaurants nearby like Tavola can challenge the simple menu that all IHOP's have. There staff was friendly and the food was very good. The newer decor does throw you off since it is an International House of Pancakes that you are eating at.

The ihop receivers are more interested in putting you where SHE wants you to sit than where you want to sit, and they insisted that I put the gel on the hands o... read more The ihop receivers are more interested in putting you where SHE wants you to sit than where you want to sit, and they insisted that I put the gel on the hands of intern, even after I told her that I was allergic and would fortunately go to the bathroom and wash them, then when I decided to wait for a stand, they insisted that I wait outside while a lady is clear to sit at the reception.

However not much attention was paid to us due to the fact that my husband and I are foreigners in this country. However I still recommend anyone wanting a nice quick meal, vist here. You won't regret it

I've tried a few other ones that are similar, and while they may be a little cheaper, I prefer this all the way. Usually the closest one is in El Centro, but this one offers the same and for even a little less. The service is excellent and the speed on the order and receiving the meal was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place
