Gorgeous location and views over the river on outside terrace. The owners appeared brusque at first but were in fact terribly friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely and an opportunity to try Alsatian specialities we all had flammekueches of different types mine was with sauerkraut and sausages to get full Alsatian taste and they were delicious and very filling! What Alexis K doesn't like about L'Heure de la Pause:
Unwelcoming, unfriendly, unaccommodating…would not let us share a flammekueschen even though we were ordering salads, drinks and would have ordered dessert, but the flammekueschen was ok at best…worst meal of the trip! Go someplace else! View all feedback.
Beautiful place and good quality for traditional local dishes
Nice setting. well-stocked plate. the welcome really to the top
During the Christmas market, difficult to find a restaurant in the evening for 5 people without reservation. We had a very good welcome, the patronage was very careful for us, the fire was good as well as the sauerkraut, a little corner of aisle on the edge of the very pretty river.
Excellent value quality price. Beautiful frame. very good quality
Or the restaurant is pretty, the cheap decorum. But it's not the decoration sale that makes a restaurant. In appearance, the food was only more disappointing. I had skillfulness because of the potiron soup, the herbs being too present (no taste of potiron, the fire dough is burned and too fine to make it almost immangeable. everything for a price too high for what it is. ah yes, you must also avoid talking or ordering with the lady as more than unpleasant. I am more than disappointed, I strongly advise but to buy the decoration:
