Friday lunch with a local friend and he took me here. While I enjoyed my lunch (tartare and a glass of red), my friend said he was disappointed that day, his meal was not the standard he is used to there, better than average but wasn't very good. I walked away happy though, the outlook is beautiful seated at the terrace and I was satisfied with the service and my meal. View all feedback.
What Julien doesn't like about L'Escalier:
Despite our reservation for 2 people, as soon as we arrived, the waiter upstairs made us understand that he needed to collect our table because a group was arriving. Ok but in that case, why did you agree to settle us in? After the dishes, the waiter left us alone for 15 minutes and came back with the bill without even offering us desserts. A nice surprise that this little restaurant on the staircase in a cosmoon! The place is acute but the welcome is warm. and in the plate, a feast! the "Angus" , the salmon and the poultry were all popular dishes! The sauce is good treeeès! Fries are at will and go home! We didn’t leave a miette! only small flat: a small stream of air in the back tied to a window that is not isolated on the floor ...It doesn’t prevent us from recommending this place to taste an excellent angus!
