Metuchen Diner

Service can be improved, should check on the customer every few minutes if they need anything.Check on every few minutes and will be good for the hungry customers, food was good. Thank you.

I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience we all had at the Metuchen diner yesterday. We went for dinner, and immediately ordered coffee (which was EXCELLENT) Our waitress was Esther and she was a delight! Our food was exceptional for our first time here. We were at the Expo Center and googled diners in the area and found this one. I don't live around here, I'm from Bergen county, but if I did, I would be here all the time. Food was hot, fresh, and like I said exceptional! The atmosphere was nice, the place is spotless, and Esther took very good care of us. We didn't have to ask her for anything, she truly was at our service! She is an asset to your diner. Can't wait to come back again!

Quaint diner with hospitable service and delicious food. ? My only complaint is that the establishment is a bit small.

Stopped by over the weekend with a friend and I'll never come again..$50 for two people to eat pancakes, French toast, bacon, hash browns and coffee. Absolutely ridiculous. The two of us had lunch at Jose Tejas the next day and it was cheaper than that. This diner is a complete ripoff..

Nasty attitude from a white and blond-haired lady who took my order in the front. She extra charged me. The menu says that the Ceaser wrap comes with fries but she went and charged me $5 and some dollars separately for the fries. When I asked her why she was not checking the menu where it were supposed to be the fries included. She was confused and didn’t know what to say. I paid and left. It’s a shame how they lie to people and they are not honest.
