Just the right amount of sweetness!! Totally melts inside your mouth! So go and better try their special yema cake if you still haven't tried it yet! Worth your penny and I'm sure you'll be coming back for more!

I had for take out their caramel chocolate cheesecake. It's an overpriced and average cake. The caramel is good and super sweet. Below it is a chocolate chiffon but you can barely taste the chocolate. Below it is a layer of whipped cream. And below is supposed to be cheesecake but it's just yellow chiffon with a slight taste of cheese. Order their other cakes that are way better than this.

Last saturday, we decided to try out Slice at BGC for lunch. We've been to the UP Town Center branch once before but we were curious about their savory dish selection so we decided to try those out For our appetizers, we ordered their mushroom cappuccino soup and their tomato soup. The mushroom soup had this froth on top sprinkled with cinnamon. Very fragrant and quite nice. I loved the tomato soup. Right up there in my list of best tomato soups I've ever had so i highly recommend this one. For our entrees, we ordered their Slice Scrambled eith Ham and Cheese and their Vegetable Baked Rice. The Slice Scrambled is a scrambled egg dish mixed with cheese with a bit of rice on the side. It's a small sized dish but very delicious. It's just the right size to fill you up a bit but not too much so you'll have space for their big cakes. The vegetable baked rice tasted ok. Maybe it would taste even better with a bit more salt. Tastes better though than the mushroom baked rice from Bizu which is their vegan baked rice and any vegan baked rice dish better than that is a good vegan baked rice in my opinion. For dessert, we ordered their Choco Peanut Butter Bomb and their Double Choco Yema Cake. Both really good cakes and they go well with the coffees we ordered, the Melt my Heart and Pia Macchiatto. On a separate occasion, i ordered their Belgian Hot Chocolate. I recommend ordering that completely by itself or share it with a friend. The chocolate is very thick, heavy, and very sweet. I was eating the Double Choco Yema cake with it and even my sweet tooth couldn't handle it. But by itself, it's a very good drink. So overall, for a place with very good desserts, i recommend this place. Their cakes are very good and their drinks pair well with those cakes too. If you're looking for entrées, I'd say they're ok. Maybe not the best out there but definitely worth a try
