We LOVE an over-the-top tiki bar experience! The Ark Royal is a lively, yet intimate tiki bar with playful light fixtures and quirky decor. I have come here and enjoyed it before so got tickets to an event. I wound up being so sick with a stomach bug and couldn’t make it and they refused to refund me, which is ridiculous being that this isn’t an event space, it’s a bar and I wasn’t guaranteed seating or anything, just entry to see some burlesque and buy drinks. Great drinks and a beautiful space slightly away from the bustle of Glenwood proper. Great place to meet up with larger groups especially earlier in the night.

Best tiki drinks in Raleigh! Haven't had a bad drink, but the painkiller is my favorite. Get there early snag the taboo room if you're with friends.
