Didn't get seated until 8:20, despite having a reservation at 8. Waiter didn't come over to us until about 20 minutes after that. After they paid attention to us, we got good service chef went out of his way to do his best. Food was delicious but be prepared to wait. Raleigh needs an up-scale hibachi place View all feedback.

Unfortunately, our experience at this location was poor. We went for our son's 13th birthday, and took our family of 6. Our chef did nothing extra to make the experience enjoyable (which is the whole reason for taking children to Hibachi) he just came out, cooked our food quickly and with zero interaction. Server kept disappearing and inaccurate with orders and selections Order a drink she never came back till we were almost done eating. Birthday at the table they never sang happy birthday to a lady sitting there at our table but did for others. Just felt a little rushed and disorganized
We had an excellent evening at Kanki! Our chef was very entertaining and kept the table festive and upbeat! It as our family Christmas outing. Happy with the service right down to the table cleanup! Please keep up that level of customer service, because it's rare these days.
It used to be a show, with cooks making it a fun event. While the cook was very nice and the wait staff was very helpful it was no longer a show. Frankly, the staff manager was quite rude. Won't go back.
First time at Kanki: Similar to the other Hibatchi restaurants in the area. Hibatchi was good -had scallops filet Sushi was also good No noodles with the Hibachi bit of a letdown.
