The noodles are handmade in-house! They are delicious! I had the tagliatelle bolognese, and it was spectacular! The service was great, and our server was very personable. The only downside is the location; I don't go into the city often. Parking: Being in the city meant that we had to park in a garage and walk to the location. Not terrible, but not like in the suburbs. View all feedback.
What LouiseR doesn't like about Gravy:
Our server was attentive and accommodating. No complaints at all in that department. In NY we are discerning about our Italian food. Gravy was sub par all around. Pasta was thick and gluey, and spaghetti was the sole option. “Focaccia” pizza margherita was like Stouffer's. Inedible for my teen. A rip off. Meatballs were mushy and flavorless. Alfredo sauce tasted out of a jar. We should have heeded the previous poor r... View all feedback.
So salty! Even garnished my dish with rock salt I could not get out of the melted cheese. Husband and I could not finish meals due to salty nature. Cannolis were good. I tried a sangria but it taste like watered down pineapple juice.

Interestingly, I left a more detailed review immediately after our meal Tuesday night this week and it never posted.
I really WANTED to like this place, but it was a fail. Everything is massively overpriced, for starters, and the food was quite possibly the worst Italian food I have ever had. We ordered bruschetta for a starter and it was cold and the bread was crunchy like stale crunchy and our main courses fared little better. I had the bolognese and it had an odd uber nutmeg thing going on; something else we couldn't define but it wasn't good. Hubby had the carbonara which was just tasteless. Neither dish was good enough to finish. They are not able to accommodate requests for different types of pasta (like angel hair) which tells me their dishes are mostly pre made even Carabbas can accommodate different pasta types. As someone who tries Italian food everywhere, this was so disappointing... skip this place and save a buck AND your tastebuds.
The pasta was amazing I had the tagliatelle bolognese and would highly recommend. We must have come at a pretty busy time or something or server was a little hard to find.
Intimate restaurant with delicious Italian dishes. The bread knots with olive oil and spices are a nice touch. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious. Our server was pleasant and had good timing.
