Shut up Raleigh!!!! This place was insanely good. Authentic is the word I would best use to describe this restaurant. Every item fresh and made in house. Lots to choose from. We had the chicken quesabarrias and it was HEAVEN. Also the Elote asado was like a fiesta in my mouth. JUST SAYIN...ANNND don't even get my started on how on point their margarita game is pictures do no justice to how refreshing and balanced it... View all feedback.
What Bianca Martinez doesn't like about Chido Taco Mercado Style Taqueria:
Yeah I ordered the birria tacos and I?ve never had tacos so bland? the cook didn?t fry them hard enough so the tortillas were soggy and broke apart. The meat was bland, tasted like it was boiled with a singular bay leaf. The rice and beans didn?t even have salt. They tried to make it look like the rice was flavorful because it was green? the consume was bland as well. I tried to fix it by adding my own spices. It loo... View all feedback.
The drinks were rather good but pricey. The guacamole had good spice to it but no tomatoes and hard to taste any lime. Other dishes seemed to be missing something, tacos had onions but not tomato, like pico. The Al pastor tacos were very good and go well with the green sauce. The chorizio had good flavor but needed different toppings to pair with the meat. Wife really enjoyed ACP and said the cilantro rice was very good/authentic. If ordering tacos, you will want to do chips and salsa to have something to add flavor to your tacos, which we did.
I ordered take out and with take out it’s usually to me not as good as if you were to eat in. This place is the exception. I got the Quesabirria beef taco combo. It was flavorful from the beginning to the end. Absolute money! ?
Good food but rude staff. I came with my boyfriend and we ordered food, when the food came out wrong he went up to let them know that wasn’t what we ordered. Instead of being nice and offering a solution the kitchen staff started to trash talk about him in Spanish in front him. Clearly not knowing my boyfriend is Hispanic and understood Spanish. Once he told me this I went inside myself to tell the lady at the front register that the order was wrong and she tried to tell me that that was what we ordered when it wasn’t. And instead of just saying they’ll remake the food she tried to go back and forth with me about it until I just stood up there holding the food until she took it back to have the kitchen remake it. As I said the food is great but be wary of the staff as they’re not the nicest especially when it comes to fixing their mistakes.
Beef birria tacos sooo tasty, tender delicious with consume for dipping..spicy sauce or medium if preferred. I used both.Cold brew...no complaints. Setting is in beautiful neighborhood, perfect scenery whilst enjoying dinner.
Overpriced, our order came wrong, everything was super dry, they only use one tortilla per taco so they fall apart the salsa wasn’t that great. Overall, mostly just poor tacos. Which is a pity because it was a pretty nice place inside. Definitely skip there are loads of awesome taco shops in town that are way better cheaper.
