Really good Indian food. The Palak Paneer is very very creamy. The Chana Masala had a very flavorful profile and the fresh cut cilantro and onions were a great touch. The real surprise is the Onion Bhaji, onion straws with mint chutney, which we got instead of samosas. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Stanley K doesn't like about Chhote's Indian Street Food:
Pros are that the price is reasonable and the portion (of rice) is huge and the taste is on par (though not as spicy as some of the other curries I have had elsewhere. Cons are that I have ordered a pork vindaloo, the potatoes were not fully cooked (as they were still hard when biting into them) and that the pork were more like pork belly, with half meat and half the fat. I thought that pork belly meats are not as co... View all feedback.
This is not even Indian food. Who owns this place? Terrible food, especially if you want Indian food. Subpar even if you didn't want Indian food.
My wife grabbed her dinner here. A chef special chicken curry. It had good flavor but it wasn't exceptional and not worth the money. A small container plus rice was $15. We won't go back.
I agree with what another Yelper said here: average. I have had it two times, excited to be having Indian food, and I've been disappointed. This time I paid $14 for Palak Paneer (which not only was overpriced but their hanging menu indicates the price is something else I hate when restaurants/food establishments do that), which was a little steep for a vegetarian dish in a food hall. And it was disappointing. Lacked flavor and didn't love how it was prepared. I will try something else in the food hall next time.
Great food and friendly service. Came here for lunch Ordered the Shrimp Tikka Masala Servicing sizes are plentiful. The sauce is creamy, fresh and well seasoned. Meal was made to order. The staff is very attentive and the kitchen area was very clean which is critical. Highly recommend visiting I will definitely frequent this establishment when in the area.
Loud environment, expensive. Food was rather bland, especially for Indian food. Interesting items on menu
