What Ajimon Thomas doesn't like about Another Broken Egg Cafe:
Finally decided to give my neighborhood restaurant a try. I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning and tried the Hey Lucy! Omlette with coffee. The food was a 5/5. Unfortunately the service let me down. My server did not check on me once. I kept waiting to ask for an extra napkin and some water but she was no where to be seen. I also do-not appreciate my sever giving me a face because i asked or fresh coffee that is... View all feedback.

Always a great meal at Another Broken Egg Cafe. Thanks for taking great care of us Justin!
Exceptional breakfast options that taste as good as they look. I enjoyed my Apple Fitter French Toast with a mimosa.
As someone who has been to this ABEC location a few times, I've consistently had a subpar experience (usually related to slow service), but have been willing to give management the benefit of the doubt. After today's visit, I will no longer be a patron of this location. My party and I waited patiently for our breakfast for around 45 minutes (a long time for a meal that should not typically take this long to prepare, even when relatively busy). When the busser came out with what looked like our meals, he proceeded to deliver them to another table, whose patrons were confused. They must have ordered some of them same meals, as they took some of them for themselves and the busser proceeded to check with other tables to see if the remaining meals were intended for them. We had to call over to him to say we believed they were intended for us, and he delivered the (partial) meals to us, which were incomplete (two sides were missing from the two meals we were given). The busser said he would bring out the rest of our meals, but they clearly needed to be cooked from scratch. During this time, a more senior busser came over to our table and said they were making the rest of our meals and that she would have one of them comped. Realizing this would take a while longer, we asked for the remaining meals to be prepared in takeout boxes, and they were finally brought to us 20 minutes later. When the server (who was very kind) brought us the bill, she said two of the meals had been comped and the rest had been discounted at the employee rate (25% reduction). This was not an adequate solution; the entire order should have been comped based on the lack of attention and urgency displayed. I realize mistakes happen, and sometimes you have to deal with it. But it should be on management to recognize a situation that could have been prevented and make it right to the patrons. I recommend that management reminds staff at this ABEC to take an extra second to confirm the table is accurate before serving meals.
