The Millers Tavern - Methuen

I attended the sushi pop-up night and it was fantastic. I tried the Farm roll with pork belly, and it was delicious—definitely a must-add for any sushi menu. The charcuterie board appetizer was also impressive. My wife ordered the steak tips, which were cooked perfectly for her (no pink) and not overdone. We will definitely be back!

I was served expired, brown lettuce in my Caesar salad, which cost me $10. After reading other reviews, I’m not surprised. Someone really needs to alert the health department in Methuen.

Additionally, both of our meals included seasonal vegetables: one serving came out fine, while the other was drenched in water (as shown in the picture) and accompanied a fish that lacked any sauce. I would have brought this up to our server, but we hardly saw her throughout our visit. The manager did stop by and offered a gift card, but since I don’t think we’ll be coming back, it seemed unnecessary.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We made a reservation but it wasn?t overly crowded anyway. The martinis are excellent. I had the cake batter and espresso ones. I really like the sprinkle rim on the cake batter martini and the espresso martini was very smooth. We shared buffalo chicken dip which is not too spicy (the way I like it) and the ahi tuna nachos to start, both really hit the spot! For dinner I had the Mac Cheese Stuffed Grilled Cheese. The perfect adult grilled cheese if you love Mac and cheese like I do. I can?t wait to come back and try more things!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with fast and friendly service. The food and drinks were amazing! I ordered a sangria flight and substituted one flavor for raspberry, which ended up being my favorite. It paired perfectly with my mac and cheese, and for dessert, I had the cookie skillet. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals. The only downside was that the mac and cheese could have been served a bit hotter, but it was still tasty. We could have asked the chef to cook it longer, though. This was my first visit with my family, and while it was a bit pricey, the food was definitely worth it. I also appreciated the comfortable sofa-like chairs, which added a nice touch to our experience.
