Il Milanese - Metallostroy

Well maintained restaurant, nice and friendly staff. Excellent wine, I recommend fish but also the rest makes you feel at home… refined and tasty cuisine. We have to go back

I've been to Il Milanese 3 times. Simply put, it is the only way of eating authentic Italian food (in terms of flavour, preparation, atmosphere, ingredients) without actually travelling to Italy. The gorgonzola cheese bruschette, the pasta, the limoncello, the amazing meat and pasta dishes are all well rounded, flavourful and rich. If you choose to dine in this place, you will also enjoy a nice atmosphere and really good service (the latter, quite hard to get in other places in St.Petersburg). Prices are reasonable and worth every penny. Don't miss it! You will be back.

Absolutely delicious. Owner and staff are very accomodating, and everything we had from the menu looked great and tasted even better. Well priced, with a good list of accompanying wines and communicating with staff in English was easy!! Truly a gem in Saint Petersburg, and well worth a visit.

We phoned in advance and had the pleasure of speaking with Marta. She confirmed that the chef could prepare a vegan option for my girlfriend. When we arrived Marta was a wonderful hostess who accommodated our every need. She gave us an excellent wine recommendation which we will certainly look for again. The Carbonara de Mare was exquisite as was the beef carpaccio starter. The bruschetta and vegan spaghetti was lovely. To finish the trip of chocolates was a genuine delight. Thanks again to Marta and the staff for a beautiful meal and evening.
