Feedback
Mesquite’s burger joint showcases a mix of opinions, with standout praise for flavorful options like the bacon blue cheese and Juarez burgers, as well as exceptional black bean and homemade onion rings. Fans love its nostalgic, well-seasoned fare served fresh and with friendly service. However, many find the portions small and the prices steep, often paying over $20 for a quarter-pound patty and sides that don’t always match expectations. While the atmosphere is clean and service generally efficient, some diners feel the restaurant prioritizes profit over value, leaving them wanting more from the overall dining experience.
We paid $30 for two hamburgers a spicy fry and another side I believe onion rings I forgot but I definitely have receipt the prices online need to be updated other than that the service was great and quick. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Not really one to rag on other companies but I was on my way to Sonic and decided let me try out this new burger place that we haven't been to yet. The best experience ever. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was very accommodating TV sports wise Etc. The food almost put me in a coma it was so good. The french fries was hot all the way back to my house 10 minutes away and it was my leftovers. I only ordered a slider thank goodness there is no way I could have ate one of those burgers any bigger. Had no idea they had a bar the drinks there were perfect. We will definitely be going back. We had two sliders, French fries, and the guacamole queso hot sauce Trio and it was still less than $25 you couldn't get that is Sonic. I can no longer leave any more review I have to go pass out. Today was a day that we had to venture out they did not have any mushrooms for the mushroom swiss that we wanted. So we ordered something different on this visit. I had the sausage fried jalapeno slider and it was incredible. I am going to make sure that I try everything on the menu and not just single myself out to one thing. The atmosphere and staff at this place is so comfortable and accommodating to whoever you are.
We have been wanting to try this place. We decided to stop here for dinner last night. Seemed pretty clean. Only downfall on the cleanliness is them sticky tables. I wiped our table down. My husband did it again. Still super sticky. Friendly staff. Order was good. On point. Received our food, one plate at a time. All was hot n fresh. The classic burger a little blah. Fries were great. Chocolate milkshake tasted like it's been in a box. Cardboard taste to it. But then the yelling and super loud convos in front of the registers were present.. Not sure if they were customers or employees. But they were ridiculously loud. Pretty much what you'd hear at a bar. Talking about alcohol, cocaine, just too much info to be hollering out in a family type restaurant. Mind you we had our 5 year old grandson with us. I get it people have convos but seriously that loud amongst employees?! I'm guessing they were employees. They were all in the same color clothes as the ones behind the registers. Even though the food was ok. This will be a no for us. Not again. Too our tummys hurt today. We're thinking from the milkshake. That's the only thing that tasted funky to us. We didn't finish it but we all did have it
I ordered a bacon blue cheese burger with queso fries, while my friend opted for a classic bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was of good quality, showcasing attention to detail in each layer. However, I was taken aback to find that we paid over $20 each for our meals, which included a burger, a side, and a drink. For that price, I expected something more substantial than a quarter-pound patty. The queso fries were fairly average, too. On a brighter note, the onion rings were clearly made from scratch, which was a nice touch. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, but given the price, I found it somewhat underwhelming.
The burgers were excellent, and the atmosphere of the place was quite pleasant. However, I found the prices to be quite high for what you receive. My friend and I ordered burgers, sides, and sodas, and after adding a tip, my total came to nearly $50. Would I return? Absolutely, but not in today's economy.
