The stuffed jalapeños are our favorite appetizer, though I've been unable to recreate them accurately at home. The coconut flan is the only flan I've ever liked Might be worth making a reservation on the weekends, great customer service even when they're super swamped.
Was a little confused at first. Thought we were in another restaurant we looked at, turns out they are both in the same building, just depends on where u sit. Otherwise, not a bad place. Chips and salsa were good with homemade chips, I had the shrimp fajita which came out fast and sizzling. My friend had an appetizer which loved, just forgot what exactly she had. Inside had great decor and if u ask the staff for a ghost story, they are happy to share. The building has been known to be haunted. Other restaurant is a steak house, with a menu that looked good but very pricey. We opted to stay in the area for Peppers. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Step back in time. Mesilla Plaza is a peaceful place, where you can stand in the gazebo and listen to the church bells or the choir singing for mass. You can stroll around and enjoy lovely homes or just take in a sunset on the benches around. The sweet shops that surround it have all sorts of New Mexican treasures, and the dining is divine. On Sundays you may enjoy the artisan market. And, for Dia de los Muertos, the festival with its ofrendas is the best around.
Pleasant place you can find nice souvenirs and delicious food
We visited the flea mkt on a Sunday and enjoyed seeing what the vendors were selling. Then we walked around to see the surrounding shops, and discovered beautiful art works and great deals. It was a good day!
