El Patio - Mesilla

On September 15, 2023 at 6:30pm, my husband and I entered the bar for a drink and to unwind in Mesilla. However, upon arrival, an older Caucasian man and his friends gave us unwelcoming looks and attitude, making us feel like we didn't belong. Thankfully, some friendly people entering the bar invited us to join their group, but it was disappointing to experience such discrimination based on our skin color. Despite the nice atmosphere, we won't be returning to this bar.

This restaurant is the epitome of a classic dive bar. The history oozes from the walls, giving it a nostalgic feel. The burrito lady walking around with tasty burritos late at night was a highlight. I do wish they had a better selection of tequila, but overall, a great experience.

I have tried to visit this restaurant several times, as it claims to be open until 2AM, but it always closes around midnight or even earlier. It's disappointing.

This is the worst bar in town. Multiple complaints have been made against the establishment for their illegal activities. They should be sued for their poor management. It is recommended that the alcohol board investigate this establishment. There have been fights within the bar, making it unsafe for patrons, and the owners show little concern for the safety of their customers.

This restaurant is truly fantastic and welcoming. It may not be fancy or high-end, but you'll find great deals and meet wonderful people.
