The restauran... read more Finding vegan gluten-free food when traveling can be challenging. We were so happy to find this restaurant. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant does serve wheat based pita chips and feta cheese but the staff had a clear understanding of the needs of gluten-free and vegan patrons. We did wish they had lemons or lemon juice available as we tend to like our tahini sauce and our hummus made with lemon juice but this is a minor issue. Overall Falafeland is an excellent choice for very reasonably priced and satisfying food in Fira.

Like most "... read more Despite the best intentions of the staff (they were very understanding and accommodating), my partner and I both had mild symptoms when eating here. Like most "fast casual" places, the tongs, spoons, etc. are constantly touching various forms of bread and being dipped into the various sauces, vegetables, etc. Might be safe for celiac if you ask for clean tongs and avoid things like hummus and baba ganoush. The falafel was absolutely delicious though.
