absolutely addicted to her special name "arizona cardinal special". every bite bursts with taste, everything boiled right! the perfect amount sweet with a little spicy in every bite! and oh my little fried salmon on the side with kawaii widdle flower! where was the whole life? I really hope they are just starting out, because this food truck was a train wreck. They couldn't keep up with orders, missed orders or left them to get cold when they were completed, and charged for different (more expensive) orders then what they served. My friend was recommended a dish, ordered and was charged for it, had their order lost, and when it was found was the wrong order. They told them the wrong order... View all feedback.
If you like good quality sushi, go somewhere else. I'll start on a good note by saying the tokoyaki tasted phenomenal, lacking meat but a solid 4/5. The fish was also very fresh and tasty. The prices were cheap considering the size of the portions but that's exactly where the problems reside. Ridiculously oversized rolls filled with 90% crab salad. I'm talking the size of a regular piece of sushi worth of crab salad. And it's not even real crab, it's white fish/imitation. I could taste it. Totally skimped on ingredients too, barely any avocado, a TINY slice of cucumber, and no cream cheese present at all in any rolls. Food was extremely messy and hard to eat, TOO big to even fit in your mouth. I was gagging from the sheer amount of crab salad towards the end. Wouldn't recommend eating here as this place will ruin sushi for you.
This place is about value. You won't find a larger roll, perhaps anywhere in the world. It's always a bit cringe to spend $15+ on a roll, when I picked up the first box, the weight felt as if there was an entire fish inside. It's for sure a very fair price. Service is top notch. Kids enjoyed the hot food, and they are very picky (katsu and teriyaki).
Found me my fave spot to get some Japanese katsu curry in the East Valley of Arizona. The sushi is delicious and size proportion is on the money. You won’t get those tiny sushi rolls from other places. Pricing is affordable
Ok initially I left a bad review, i drive 40 minutes for food for them to say take out only when on site it said dine in. And also it’s really expensive. But I can’t lie the staff was very nice and the food was actually really good. In the moment I was quite upset, but the food is really good. Portions aren’t amazing but honestly I’d come again.
Easily one of the best sushi spots in AZ. I love coming here, their rolls are huge for the price. Can’t beat top quality!!
