Sizzler - Mesa

I always heard this place was for Geriatrie and nurses. I was a little surprised that such a bumper does not serve alcohol for the ol 'folk. I thought about giving it a 3-star rating, but our server laughed at our funny jokes and we got a whole pineapple from the All-you-can-eat buffet. I feel like a Jimmy Buffet song about it. Heck, this place is so cool that you throw a cantelope clear over the restaurant and nobody cares. 5 stars for customer service. 2 stars for food. They ran out of potatoes, but had baked potatoes... not sure how it works.

Explore Mesa led us to Sizzler on Country Club Drive. We were not sure what we expected. We only knew we were hungry and were a bit burst. What a beautiful oasis of food and drink we discovered. I ordered a steak in the middle price range that cooked for perfection and tasty to boot. It was a positive culinary experience, and if we are out of the West again, we will probably fall back and know that good things are next time ahead. 5 out of 5 on the Yum scale.

Great food and the servers were amazing. They have you cut your steak to make sure it's what you want when they serve it. I've been to high end restaurants and they don't do that.

Great selection of various foods and A salad bar! I wouldn't recommend the steak though to be honest. Seemed like low quality meat... :

Great steaks. Great yeast rolls. Great salad bar. Under-average desserts. Service can be met and mis. Clean. Efficient. Not enough TV. Many windows. Booth Seats are placed uncomfortably near the tables. Would recommend table seating. The toilets are clean. A great place to have a high quality steak and seafood. Skip the low quality desserts.
