On the side, they run a fantastic food business, offering so many dishes that remind me of my travels. I found so many items that I love from back home that I can't wait to share! The staff here were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for an authentic experience with a Syrian bakery, don't look any further – it's 100% the real deal.

What User doesn't like about Shamy Market Bakery:
Had so many good reviews and great prices. Went in today and the only items available for takeout were Mediterranean versions of pizzas. I asked them if they had any of the other items listed online but was met with a no. I was bummed. They had many dishes online including many Mediterranean deserts. When I asked about it again I was given one word answers. I had to force conversation about hummus. In the end, I got... View all feedback.
I heard this place was really good of a few employees, so I decided to give it a shot. I tried two different flatbreads and they were all right. Nothing to write home. Not sure I comeback
Best experience in my life , me and my husband came here to have breakfast and it was the best breakfast ever , the manakesh were so good and fresh we tried zaatar pie, muhamra with cheese pie, cheese pie, haloumi with veggies pie , sfeha (meat pie) , sujok with cheese pie and spinach pie.. oh my gosh so authentic, delicious and so fresh we will come back again to try the Fateh..Highly recommended
So I have yet to shop at this place. I called to see if they were open 1st and foremost and also to see if they have a select kind of bread. Let's just say I had to question where I was calling because they answer with hello very upset. 2nd they were so short with me I didn't get any answers except for they are closed and hung up. I can only imagine the frustration someone calling after hours but if somebody doesn't know should they really make the person angry
What a shame this place use to be great !! The man that works there is not only rude but also gave us our pies raw!!!! We drove 30 min away to get these and what a huge disappointment!!! Don’t waste your time , go anywhere else but this place
Went there for the first time. The grocery store is filthy and unorganized and I noticed that some of the stock has been expired for 3 years according to the sell date. There is some new stock, but the majority is very old. The vegetables in the produce case was wilted and moldy and the items in the freezer are freezer burned as well. We did order some of the flatbreads and they were pretty good, although they were a bit pricey at 5 dollars each for cheese and meat and Zaatar at 4.49, for what was given is just way too much. They had no groceries on the shelf and the person at the counter was not pleasant at all. Overall, the experience was just depressing, as for returning, probably not. There are much better Middle East groceries within 5-20 minutes from there that have much fresher product and more selection at a more reasonable price. Unless the attitude is changed, the place will close, I'm sure of it.
