Mountain Mike's Pizza - Mesa

2/23/22 Processing/evaluation. after the answer to my review and an email of hospitable relationships, both claiming that they follow to get a release, nothing happened. I even got up before I went to my bank. I don't think I should pay for inedible pizza, but I was willing to take a partial refund. who knows, maybe I would have tried it again, but not now. the care in the answer is a smoke screen, and it apears I am not the only one that notices that they have problems cooking the pizzas on their name brand level of quality, so many people check and trust I am about it original review: I wanted to have a good experience, and the girl on the theke was super friendly, but the pizza has not delivered. morale of the story they check their pizza there before they go. our pizza was well overboiled, dry, thick cardboard crust, burned edges, burned comminuted paprika, and the cheese had the consistency of plastic. definitiw not enough sauce, but they pay more about a dollar when they ask extra, I guess the cheese was pretty vaccinated, but it was so overcooked who knows. I have pictures. I started to bag it and then I saw the half eaten disc of me and the half eaten disc of my son and decided instead to make photos, leave a review, and then went to the website to request a partial refund online as I paid online. we will see how this goes, but spending $22 on 2 pieces of pizza seems exaggerated to me, but I made the mistake to pick it up and drive home without looking before. not impressed by the food, but the facility is clean and accomodating, the personal was friendly.

It’s been years since leaving California that I’ve had the best pizza in the world. I was so excited to hear a restaurant was opening in AZ and was finally able to go. I live just over an hour away and hope they open another location in the west valley. Until then I will make it a point to stop when I’m out this far east which is not very often. The restaurant was clean, the gal at the counter was super nice and friendly. I had called the night before to check hours and “Mike” was nice on the phone. The food was amazing! My wife loved the chicken wings. They did make a mistake by forgetting two toppings but they immediately offered to make us a whole new one and it was flawlessly executed! Great food and customer service! Looking forward to my next visit! Note to the owners: Please bring one out to Surprise AZ!

Unfortunately this is not as good as your typical mountain Mike's in California, realize new store unfortunately very poor start. Two stars are because the pizza is very good however the rest was horrible. Ordered pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks at 4:06 p.m. only ended up with pizza and mozzarella sticks at 4:54 wings were not ready yet after being told stuff would be ready in 15 more minutes. As you can see the mozzarella sticks are beyond sub-par and they didn't give me the marinara sauce. wings were not ready and I would not wait any longer, again the saving Grace is the pizza is very good but they need to get a better handle on their timing.

I am super impressed with this spot. The pizza was phenomenal and I loved their honey garlic wings. I will definitely be back!

I was so excited to try this new pizza place and Mountain Mike’s didn’t disappoint. The pizza is delicious and tastes just like what I remember in California. The old world style pepperoni is next level, and the crust was crispy for every bite. I’ll definitely be back!
