our waitress was wonderful, attentive and helpful. the food was delicious and as my fiancée pointed out looks like the picture and our mealtimes both looked perfect. And this was literally exactly after we put Dennys in the ground after the in and out after a few minutes of no one on us, so it was super refreshing and really great to see a big chain diver that makes it right in terms of food quality and food quality. It’s been a while since we came here. Now I remembered why; I got the Split decision breakfast with their new cold brew coffee. The bacon is underdone, not fully cooked nor crispy, the French toast needs more flavor, no powdered sugar or cinnamon to it. My husband got the chicken fried steak, it was really good. It has good flavor to it. He said the coffee is not bad.
Server was nice but didn?t check in, my kid had an empty cup for most of the meal. Waited awhile just to check out, I had to flag one of the other waitresses down. They said they didn?t have candy corn for the Halloween pancakes which was disappointing for the kids, but ok. But they brought them out and they looked absolutely terrible. I wouldn?t have allowed that to leave my kitchen and I sure as hell wouldn?t have served that. Kids were very let down.
We were brought here by some friends, and it was around midnight. The location has several guests, and once you were in your seats it was good. However, the entry service (i.e., host/hostess waiting to get seated) was poor; several people, including us, were stuck waiting at the front door and went looking for someone before we were seated.
I Believe the issue was short of staff. Incoming counter Person for seating. Wasn't present. Had to wait in a WAITRESS to come acknowledge my party of 3. Once we sat down service got better. Waitress brought drinks out immediately. Took our order, food came out fast. Cooked to order and was delicious ????
After waiting over an hour for our food, we watched as tables that ordered after us received their meals before we did. When we finally spoke to our waitress, she informed us that there were still three orders ahead of ours. At that point, we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. Miraculously, right after that, our food began to be prepared. However, after another 15 minutes, only half of our order arrived, which was just the basics. Then, another 10 minutes passed before my pancakes finally made it to the table, but they were undercooked and still gooey. I wish my photos could truly capture how unappetizing they looked. The "buttered toast" was barely toasted at all, and there was no butter on it. I ended up having to pay for food that I simply couldn't eat. To make matters worse, as we were leaving, I overheard a woman complaining that half of her takeout order was missing. The District Manager really needs to take action regarding this location; it's tarnishing the IHOP name.
