Blue Adobe Grille - Mesa
Blue Adobe Grille
Description
The reviews for the restaurant paint a somewhat mixed picture of the overall experience. While some visitors raved about the excellent food and friendly service, others were less impressed by aspects such as the cleanliness of the facility and the authenticity of the Mexican cuisine. Highlights mentioned included the margarita flight, chicken enchiladas, and the beef chimichanga. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a diverse menu with something for everyone, but opinions on the quality and atmosphere vary. However, for those in search of great Mexican food in the Mesa, Arizona area, the restaurant comes highly recommended by many patrons.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I have to say it was very clean. The waitress was extremely friendly. On the recommendation of a friend, I tried the seafood enchiladas. I believe they would have been really tasty, but unfortunately, this particular batch was excessively salty. My friend, who ordered the same dish, mentioned that they had never tasted it that salty before. It really affected my meal. While the salsa didn't look very appealing, the flavor wasn’t bad; it's just not the style of salsa I prefer. The rice was quite good, but the pinto beans were just average. However, the restaurant offered a complimentary birthday treat, and the ice cream and cookie were absolutely delicious! The customer service was so outstanding that I decided to give the restaurant four stars instead of three. I’ll likely return and try something different next time.
This restaurant was fantastic! We had a gift certificate from our wedding, and I was grateful I made reservations a few days in advance. They weren't overly busy, but it was just enough to require a reservation. We were seated right away, and the ambiance was lovely, really capturing the essence of New Mexico. We started with an appetizer and some drinks; my wife ordered the house margarita, which she said was delicious. We tried the salmon lettuce wraps as our appetizer, which kicked off our meal perfectly—they were scrumptious! For my main course, I chose the "Land of Enchantment," which was packed with flavor. I had my steak cooked medium, and it was tender like butter. Both our meals were exactly what we expected and even better. This is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal and the delightful company of my wife. Thank you, Blue Adobe!
We had an amazing meal here that featured the Land of Enchantment, ribs, and a sopapilla. Everything was absolutely outstanding. The beef tenderloin medallion topped with jalapeño hollandaise was the best steak I’ve ever had. The service was friendly and attentive. I wish I lived closer so I could sample everything on the menu!
A wonderful hidden gem in Mesa offering New Mexico-inspired cuisine. The guacamole is spot-on, and the fresh halibut was delicious. Please be patient as they are currently short-staffed, but the entire team is friendly and hardworking.
While passing through the area, we decided to stop by this restaurant, and I had no idea I was about to have an unforgettable experience. As a family of three with a young child, we were treated with such warmth and attention that it felt like we were long-time patrons. The food is beyond words. I ordered the Cruz Kitchen, which included a smoked pork tamale and a steak relleno topped with red sauce. I absolutely adored every bite and can’t wait to return.
