Barro's Pizza - Mesa

The pizza was good. The lunch specials were of value and I enjoyed the size of the salad that came with the meal I chose. Service was quick and polite. Here I got two slices of Barro's specialty pizza, salad and drink but added another slice for $2.50? I think I actually liked the pepperoni pizza I got on a subsequent visit better.

Pizza was not fully cooked and dough was still wet and soggy. I called back to this location to let them know and all they could tell me was ok and they will let their manager know... . They did not even offer me a partial refund or anything for sending me home with something not very safe to eat. I did not feel like driving back to return the pizza, so I put it in my own oven to finish cooking myself. I guess this is how this location 's customer service works??

I got over charged on both my order and overcharged again adding 1 ranch. Also they forgot to bring me my slices when they came out of the oven and when I asked for a ranch they forgot to bring me that as well. Took 40 min and 3 trips to the front to finally get my order right. Didn?t even notice I was over charged until leaving. Definitely need to fix this. Unpleasant experience with front of house. Food as usual was excellent.

Wings used to be good, now they are not. Had to throw away an order of 24 wings because they were over cooked and tasted like cardboard (see pics). Total waste on football night. Not to mention they were the size of pigeon wings. Pizza was ok...definitely not worth the 45 bucks we dropped there.

The one-disk lunch special with a home salad and a big drink for me is the best deal in the city. the pizza is great and the salad is great and the price is right. the restaurant and its bathroom are clean and the staff is friendly. go to 11 o'clock to miss the high school eile.
