Was Anonym at Ellerhof a mag?
Dieses Restaurant ist ein ausgezeichnetes Ausflugslokal. Es liegt ausserhalb von Merzig, beim Garten der Sinne in einem kleinen Wald und man hat eine wunderbare Aussicht. Das Essen hier ist exclusiv und sehr gut vor allem frisch. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Das Restaurant hat auch einen Biergarten dabei. Es gibt dort auch Zimmer zu mieten.Auf alle Fälle sehr empfehlenswert. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Ellerhof:
Der Ellerhof hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht und einen großen Garten. Die Ausstattung ist etwas veraltet. Das Personal ist sehr nett und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Leider waren wir vom Essen nicht überzeugt. Der Salat war lieblos hergerichtet, einfach nur Blattsalat mit viel zu viel Soße. Als weitere Beilage gabe es Rösti, die leider aus der TK kamen. We went there for dinner and were thoroughly satisfied. The menu was straightforward, which is a positive, as great attention is paid to quality and the chefs know how to use their ingredients. The service was super friendly and attentive. A delicious and successful evening for us.

I absolutely don't understand the good reviews of the food here... the schnitzel was anything but good... frozen schnitzel... dripping in fat and not even 1cm thick... a real shame, especially given the very small, manageable menu that mostly offers schnitzel or pork medallions as main courses... it was unfortunately a disappointing experience... the price is also too high for this quality. The new interior is nice and cozy, and the service was also very friendly and attentive! But that's where it ends.
