For th... read more We randomly found this restaurant in the center of Merzig when we we 're driving home one night and just took an exit of the autobahn when we got hungry. For the last few years it has become one of our go-to resto stops when travelling to-and-from our ski holidays in Austria. The Asian food makes for a welcome change after a week of wintery Austrian fair. There 's plenty of parking in the area, and the restaurant is pretty big so we 've never had any problem getting seated straight away. We 've always gone for the all you can eat option (not sure if they offer anything else actually? with a couple of glasses of soda. The buffet is large, and there 's a made to order tepanyaki area as well. Quality of the food itself is average, the standard western Chinese fare. You get a shot of chinese sake or plum-wine and a fortune cookie with your bill. The price is good for what you get.

When we entered the restaurant at 17:30 is was still dark inside but it was open from 17:00. The really really slow service asked us what we wanted to drink and 15 minutes later it was served. As we were the first customers in the restaurant this took forever. The buffet was filled quite fast and from first sight the food looked good. But the quality of the food was of some dishes from the buffet really poor. I kept on chewing on the beef. They use a lot of gluten in their dishes. Would not go there again.
