Auberge De La Foret - Mervent

Photos non conformes, auberge très vieille.. Mais, gérant très sympathique, il nous a accueilli et attendu alors que nous avons réservé à la dernière minute. Malgré ses chats et chien, il accepte ceux des clients, notre lalie y était très à l'aise. Chambre vieillotte mais très confortable, tout à disposition, nous avons passé une nuit reposante à mi-hemin de notre destination. Dom, s'est levé plus tôt, pour nous servir notre petit déjeuner, petit déjeuner copieux et agréable. Endroit très calme

Superbe accueil pour un couple en van pour une nuit; sangria maison servie généreusement et à prix raisonnable. Même si c'est au bord de la route, c'est très calme et paisible. Randonnées a proximité!

Came to spend a night at the forest hostel, we were very well welcomed by the owner. the room was clean and comfortable. We had a very good dinner with the burning cream was excellent! touched by the beautiful attentions .cerise on the cake: breakfast is very hearty!. We will return with great pleasure to the forest hostel if our steps take us back on the paths of the mervent.

The venue looks a little tired, but the staff were young and enthusiastic. The menu was an odd mix of Italian, French and American menu items. The food was OK, without being stunning. Worth a visit if you are in the area, as there aren't too many good alternatives.

We spent a good weekend, the welcome was very good breakfast and the meals well. calm down.
