What a fantastic find! We drove up from Blackwood after seeing the great reviews online. We parked in the college car park, and within ten minutes, we reached the pub. The staff were incredibly polite, and the interior had a lovely atmosphere, tastefully decorated. The food was outstanding—no complaints at all! I had the corned beef pie with chips and peas, while my wife enjoyed chicken skewers with salad and chips. We both agreed everything was excellent, and we hope to return in the near future!

I enjoyed a delightful dinner today at the New Crown. The food was served hot and was truly delicious. The decor is stunning—very inviting and cozy, particularly the hanging flowers! We were seated indoors in a lovely private area, but the outdoor dining space is just as charming. I'm looking forward to returning in the future and would definitely recommend it!

I’m giving a low rating because of the days when Jorge isn’t at the pub. The website for ordering drinks and food is also non-functional. The waitresses seem indifferent to the customers and often ignore them. During my last visit, my friends and I ended up leaving our table to go somewhere else because no one paid any attention to us. Overall, I would rate the food as a 4, the service as a 1, and the atmosphere as a 2.
