The Butcher's Arms - Merthyr Tydfil

On September 30th, my family and I went to this restaurant for a meal. There were 12 of us and we all had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely visit again and recommend it to our family and friends.

We were recommended to visit this pub by the staff at the place where we were staying nearby, and we were very happy that we did. We arrived during halftime of a rugby game so that my husband could finish watching, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they were offering free chicken curry and chips! The food was delicious, and I also had the cheesecake which I would highly recommend. The atmosphere was great, and the interior of the pub was tastefully decorated with clean and lovely bathrooms. The staff were all friendly and attentive, including the younger members of the team who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The locals were also fantastic. I appreciated that my drinks were served in proper glasses. I would definitely recommend this pub.

The staff, pub, and food at this restaurant were all incredible. The service was outstanding, even with a large booking, and there were no faults to be found. Everyone left very happy and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

Hidden goldmine. This place has a gem of a menu that has delivered excellence. Morgan as front of house shines, a friendly greeting on this miserable day, 29/08/23. The wife I ordered the 10 oz ribeye. For the 1st time in 18 months, our steaks were PERFECT!! The fries, onion rings and sauces Anne (chef) thank you. This was such a great meal. Found by accident, hoping it isn't the last time we come here.
