I stopped by this place because it was convenient to my hotel, and I discovered a hidden gem. This place has a great selection of vegetarian dishes! I ordered the Buddha Feast, which turned out to be a beautifully arranged plate of steamed vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and seaweed, and it was delicious. What User doesn't like about Crystal Gardens Chinese Restaurant:
Most of the food was bland. i.e Noodle dish, Won ton soup but the pork ribs were super salty and under cooked. They had sushi .. sort of. It was a good attempt but not executed well. We had just driven12 hours so it was better than McDonalds but we wouldn't stop there again. View all feedback.
Oh my, non, nada, nyet will we ever eat there again. Ditto the couple with us.$60 for two which was shocking and you have to pay in advance ?.In retrospect, I imagine some have refused to pay after eating. Seriously.There was only one vegetable dish. One.Maybe two meat entrees of some deep fried shrimp, deep fried balls, both sweet n sour. Some kind of fried fowl legs (assume chicken but they were like black inside). The food at this restaurant was unappetizing and not worth a second bite. We tried the buffet but found that the plates were barely touched, leaving us unsatisfied. The service was unfriendly and unapproachable. It seemed like the staff didn't care about customer satisfaction. Avoid the sweet and sour pork as it tasted like dish soap. On a positive note, the washrooms were clean. Overall, it's best to steer clear of this restaurant.
We tried the buffet and enjoyed the variety of fresh, delicious hot dishes. However, the price can be high if you don't eat enough to make it worth it. We will stick to ordering from the menu in the future. Overall, we rate the food 4 out of 5.

Not sure if you should be advertising best Chinese food in town when there's only two Chinese restaurants. That said. We had the buffet. May have been better if we ordered off the menu. $70 for two people is a bit pricey. I can live with that if it's a great experience. The interior is incredibly drab 1978. Okay I can live with that if the food is good. The food was really tasty, unfortunately everything was cold. I mean everything. Sweet and sour, vegetables, chow mein, soup, everything was cold. How unfortunate. What a simple thing to remedy. They didn't seem too concerned about it though. Maybe they should be with only two people in the restaurant.
