A stunning winery! We enjoyed exploring the sculpture garden, which features unique and fascinating pieces. The wine was excellent, and our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. View all feedback.
What Danny Moritz doesn't like about Pt. Leo Estate:
a disappointment compared to our last vist. the current menu isn't appealing. food is not what is used to be.. different chef? and the serving sizes seem to have shrunk drastically. $280 without drinks and still left hungry needing to eat as soon as you get back from the drive out there!... its also extemely crowded nowadays and feels so commercial... like dining in a factory. It's just a big machine now. will not re... View all feedback.
What a great experience and an unforgettable day with close friends enjoy five star foods. this review would have been 5 stars if it did not have to pay for an additional fee (after spending $150 pp at lunch) to show the sculptures. you would think that all diners would get a complementary fit? could have competed an amazing brand experience. now I'm coming away and thinking that the point Leo business is a little greedy!
Such a beautiful place to visit! Grounds and buildings are stunning and perfect for any occasion. We ate at the pop up restaurant for a birthday and the birthday girl got a nice little candle with her dessert. Lovely and spacious, the food was great and service was very personal and attentive. Really enjoyed walking around the sculpture park which has views of vineyards and the ocean. Highly recommended!
Incredible dining experience! Came as a large group and we were so well accommodated not only in the space but also for our dietary requirements, etc. It was exceptional value for the set food and beverage menu we dined on. The ambience is just something else too! Can’t wait to be back.
Beautiful sculptures definitely makes this vineyard a must go if you're heading to Mornington. Food overall from this spring menu was good. The canapes were excellent and the highlight. Fish and beef was average, not WOW like the canapes. Dessert was cheese and white chocolate which were pleasant. Pricing is fair. Service was marred by having to ask for balsamic vinegar twice. The olive oil was too bitter for my liking but bread was excellent.
We had a great time here the wine tasting was fantastic and our server was both friendly and knowledgeable. For $10pp it's a bargain since you get the money back if you buy some bottles of wine afterwards. The sculpture park $10pp) is a really cool feature of the winery. We got lucky with the weather and so we were able to walk through at a pleasant pace.
