Received a chicken and sausage gumbo instead which appeared to be very hearty and meaty and looked very good. Went and exchanged it for the shrimp and crab that we ordered and received basically a bowl of broth. What was there was good but felt like we were intentionally given a serving with virtually nothing but broth. The seafood platter came with a good amount of food. The crawfish ball was really good and the shrimp had a good crispiness, but the platter was otherwise unremarkable. Overall, very disappointed.

This is a place where you can go for dinner and stay for a few drinks to mingle with other patrons at the bar. If you stay long enough, you're definitely going to run in to old friends or family members. This is THE place you have to go when you come home to the area! It's worth every one of these 5 stars.

Received a chicken and sausage gumbo instead which appeared to be very hearty and meaty and looked very good. Went and exchanged it for the shrimp and crab that weordered and received basically a bowl of broth. What was there was good but felt like we were intentionally given a serving withvirtually nothing but broth. The seafood platter came with a good amount of food. Cooked perfect, fresh and well sea... read more Really good food. 4 in our party had boiled crabs, cooked to perfection, seasoned well and full. I had fried fish and shrimp. Cooked perfect, fresh and well seasoned. Only down side is trouble getting a table, they do not seat you.
