The meals took a Sunday noon before our flight. Well surprised by the benefits: we ordered a burger and an ocean salad. Quick and pleasant service. We ate well and reasonable addition to an airport. The view of the slopes during the meal was also pleasant. In short, fully satisfied with our meal. View all feedback.
What Grégoire Samson doesn't like about Le Grand Comptoir:
Brusque and chaotic service by three lassies who were obviously way out of their depth,Burger and chips arrived after 25 minutes stone cold because they'd forgotten about it.Chocolate mousse had layer of whole walnuts on bottom and on top with, i kid you not leek tops in opposite corners - see pictures. Family Sunday noon before the flight. Very welcome, with a smile. The waitress came several times to ask us if everything was okay. Good and well presented dishes. Nothing to say. The price? It's like when you're on a road: it's expensive for what you eat and surely not as good or well presented. It's so easy to criticize! I wish good courage to waitresses who do not necessarily have always pleasant customers.

Big burgers and ok salad This place is almost very good. But the olives in the Caesar salad were terrible and the chicken was rather limp. It usually seems hard to get a great salad in France. The burger was very good and made for very average salad. Wine selection was good and quite expensive
Like so many other reviews, we were astonished to find ONE poor, rushed girl dealing with the whole restaurant. Showing people to their seats, pouring drinks, taking orders, dealing with the bill. This is an airport restaurant for heaven’s sake. People eating here will want...prompt service so they can catch their plane. I am writing this having been in the restaurant for 30mins I haven’t even had my glass of wine yet. The Management really need to read these reviews!! Ok the food has arrived. Fairly dreadful; all giving the impression of preparation well in advance! We still haven’t had our glass of wine let alone our bottle of water. I feel sorry for the waitress, although she isn’t very good with people skills. The skill in the kitchen is non existent. I am going to be in touch with the airport management as there customers are being totally ripped off!!
Usually the only food that’s worse that airport food, is plane food. Unfortunately this restaurant nears it quite well; poor, poor, poor choice for a meal: burger cooking was mistaken, fries were over fried, drenched in cheap oil, mayonnaise was just a white unflavoured paste,...wine was oxidised, Salt&pepper shakers some of the dirtiest. The water was ok.
