We arrived at 2.30 for a late lunch and were greeted with a friendly smile. The menu was varied and inviting. The food arrived hot and tasty. The place is clean and the staff friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. View all feedback.
What Colette Faure doesn't like about Grill Courtepaille:
Only looked at the menu posted in the window. We didn't see a single vegetarian dish that my wife could eat. We did not go inside. Instead we had a superb meal at La Criée, 200 yards away. View all feedback.
Nice steak, hamburgers were not too cooked, so for small children was not so great. Children like the menu, that was a few you with chocolate and smarties
This restaurant grills your food in the dining room. The fish was excellent. Service was great. Because I know it's a chain, I'll look for it.
This was our second visit to a place that is so convenient to the airport. Again we found the menu suitable for all in our party, and the food is good (Sty, if not gastronomic). But it was all so slow to roll our order and...for the action! Not sure why, when the place was quiet and there were many employees. Also strange: an empty restaurant, we sat next to a table of 4 people (all quite crowded in our part of the restaurant! . I guess the answer is a manager and a bit of training . .
I had been driving for several hours before arriving at Bordeaux airport. I was ravenous The waiting staff on duty that evening were very pleasant, attentive and unobtrusive. Just the way I like waiting staff to be. My limited French or Franglaise was understood and...I felt service was good enough to leave a fair gratuity The menu choice is adequate but would not suit everyones taste or palate. However, what was on offer was spot on for me. I had a large cool lager while my Veal Chop was grilled in front of my eyes. This meal was delicious and the side dishes that I requested were of good quality and size. It was not the most expensive meal that I had in France and it was reasonably good value for money
OK, I admit we did arrive to eat around 1600hrs and the service/food reflects this but the restaurant is supposed to be open all day. We rang the bell to be let in and the waitress/cleaner seemed surprised that we actully wanted to eat something....We were the only customer there at the time and although we can speak French had difficulty understanding the mumbling of the waitress and had to ask her to repeat what she had said a number of times. The welcome salad was literally 4 leaves of lettuce with a blob of 1000 Island dressing. My wife ordered the ribs with a baked potato the ribs were excellent but the baked potato was inedible. When this was pointed out, the waitress shrugged and said it was the only one left after the lunch service.....it should have not been offered as food in the first place and an alternative proposed (my chips were good). My chicken burger was good and had quite a spicy mustard sauce. Drinks are expensive and for 2 mains, 2 small ciders and 2 coffees a bill of around €40 is too high. Overall a very mixed bag but we will not be going back
