I went to big Al's tonight to celebrate a birthday with some friends by going bowling. The place was crowded and the wait time for two lanes was 2 hours, which ended up being longer due to an error in taking down my phone number to be notified when a lane was available. I don't quite understand why big Al's does not accept reservations. While waiting for our lanes, I sat down at a table in the restaurant and ordered food and drinks. To my surprise, I was told that I had to scan a QR code on the table or order at the bar, which was not ideal or efficient. The food and drinks were good, but the process took longer than expected. Overall, big Al's seems to be just as busy as before COVID-19, with wait times on everything being slow. I believe that big Al's management will improve the process as they continue to adjust to the post-COVID-19 situation.

What an unpleasant experience where to start at all? how about we go to the door, I must welcome the teenager who works on the front, because she doesn't know how to welcome her guests properly. they all have an attitude as if they were absolutely abhorred at big al’s. we came to bring the kids for bowling and video games, but one of three arcade machines seems to be out of service. we tried to start bowling, but were told at our arrival of 9 o'clock that it would wait a 3 hours (and close us too time before we could get on a track). I have discovered 9 empty bowling alleys (yes, I have counted because I have experienced this from the big al bowlingtheke before). it seems as if they would tell them that all lanes will be full so that all lanes will be cleared an hour before the closing; feels like the workers are going out the door ten minutes before the closing time, and that was on a Friday night. we decided to get some drinks at the cash while we waited, totally over price, $10 a beer. an hour and a half later they finally call us into the bowl, there were only four or five other lanes that were used by the time when we began to knock our one game. Overpriced.Come 11.30pm, the child goes up to trade in their cards. we finish our beer and I bring the goggles down into the bar. this is what finally pushed me over the edge, the service (or it was missing there) from the bartender with all the metal in her face, completely unprofessional, respectful, and her a female counterpart was not much better, all attitude. the men behind the bar were the only ones that showed professionalism. I'll never bring the children back. I'll spend their money differently!
Great place to go bowling, service was good and food options were solid. Tuesdays have a discount so it gets pretty busy.

If you like doing things for yourself as if you were at home, then maybe this is the perfect place to go, but that is not why I go out to eat.The food was delicious!!!! As it always has been. We will eat here again as i love the bowling alley and the aracade for my kids. But definitely no more date nights.
