Disappointed! When we chose this restaurant from the Restaurant Week website, it said $35 for 3 appetizers, 1 entree, and 1 dessert I assumed for each person, but when we got to the restaurant, we learned that the price was $70 for a couple who shared the 3 appetizers, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. And we found out that one of the desserts was already sold out by 5:30 on a Sunday evening. And to top it all off, we validat... View all feedback.
I can't express how good this food is... The bartender his name is josh and he's a wizard.... We dropped in four restaurant week.. Very nice.Dietary restrictions: They have no dairy options.Parking: The validate parking.
Went for restaurant week, thinking it was a good deal. The menu included 3 dumpling dishes, a main, and a dessert shared between the two of us, priced at $35 per person. After closing out and paying, we quickly realized that this “deal” was actually a rip off! If we had ordered these items a la carte off the regular menu, it actually would’ve been significantly cheaper than ordering off the restaurant week menu! And on top of that, they added a 6% restaurant week surcharge that the server didn’t mention whatsoever and that charge wasn’t written on the menu either. And the dessert was super small, like three bites total. After tip and everything, it was almost $100, when it would’ve been about $80 off the regular menu. It just felt like we got duped, when it should’ve felt like an actual deal. The food was pretty good, but there are dozens of better dumpling places in Denver for a much better price.
I love Yumcha, food 10/10. Service is a hit or miss but food is always a 10. Soup dumplings are the best I’ve had anywhere.
Tasty food but a disappointing food experience. Overall service was lacking and absent. Yumcha has a restaurant week deal that is meant to be shared as a couple for $35/person or $70 per couple. Although, this is no deal even though they are advertising it as one; if you order the most expensive items on the restaurant week menu, you save a total of $1 (cost of regular priced menu would bring you to $71). Also, on the restaurant week menu, you share an entree. We ordered the curry which is soup like but they didn't bring out individualized bowls or spoons. Our waitress was absent and had to be asked to refill water, bring utensils, etc.
