This is a good solid place to come watch some soccer or have some local or British beers. However, I would say the menu is pretty basic stuff and isn't overly impressive. More of a good sports bar with a Celtic flavor than anything else. They have had great crowds for the World Cup lately.Update: they have Kilkenny! 5 stars. View all feedback.
What Steven Spearman doesn't like about The Celtic On Market Off Track Betting:
We had some good hors d'oeuvres here and pleasant conversations but they seemed to be understaffed and we didn't have anybody coming by to help with drinks more than once an View all feedback.
Super unimpressed. It’s a dark, grungy pub. On a late summers afternoon, we popped in for a couple cold drinks. It was almost completely empty, which wasn’t a great sign.We ordered two beers. The bartender was fine, though a little socially distanced. Sipped and paid and left. Not only was it dark, but it was hot inside, the TVs were profiling bizarre sports… and it smelled a bit, too.All that to say, we likely won’t be back. There’s better spots nearby.
A great place to watch fútbol. The US Women’s Team vs. Netherlands was a great match to watch in this Irish style pub.
I went here because I randomly met the owner at a restaurant in Evergreen. I had told him I was going to Ireland (and because he’s Irish) he recommended his pub. Finally made it in and sure enough, it felt like I stepped back into the old country. Got a pint of the good stuff and it was poured well. In Ireland it’s a sin to pour a bad pint of Guinness. Didn’t try the food, but the atmosphere is great and I will go back again soon.
