What Manny Avalos likes about Hugo's Colorado Beer Spirits:
Checked it out and didn't buy anything. They lack a lot of the local highlights (Wiley Roots, Weldwerks, Knotted Root etc). I think they should work to carry some of those, it would elevate their beer game. However, the owner was extremely friendly and was offering every customer individual advice. 5 stars for the staff, 0 stars for pricing. $18 for a 6 pack of yeti… and it’s $12 not even a 3 minute drive away. Are they collector edition bottles and the whiskey is… same story for the most part and as for the whole shop, you’re going to be unpleasantly surprised if you’re iso anything that’s not local to Colorado by in large. My go to liquor store in cap hill/Congress park. I’ve moved about 5 miles away and still make the effort to come back to Hugo’s
K fam, in Denver and want a great selection of Colorado craft beer...and knowledgeable, friendly staff? GO TO HUGO'S. Don't waste your time going anywhere else
Nice selection, nice people, clean store, I personally found it to be pretty expensive for the beers compared to other places, but well organized selection..
