This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant! The service was impeccable but not intrusive. The food was fabulous! I had the tamale appetizer both the green and brown mole was the best I've ever had! My husband had the calamari superb! My entree was chilis en nogada amazing flavor ate every bite. My husband had the ribeye on poblano sauce. The steak was fork tender and full of flavor! Great food and great service! This is my go-to spot
Went for a business lunch. Was not busy and it was quiet. Only rated 4 stars because service was a little slow very good service overall. Chicken taco salad was unexpectedly different, delicious and perfect portion. I'll definitely come here again!
Huge disappointment overall: not gonna rate them a 2 just because they seem like good people and the positives were definitely the freshness of the food and the outdoor patio.But man just so overpriced: we were gonna share fajitas and got the chicken/shrimp combo. Wish I would have taken a pic for proof but no like it was barely a 1/2 chicken breast and THREE pieces of shrimp with 3 fajitas and small portions of rice and guac. Beans n peppers were decent. Then they have the audacity to charge for more chips when they come in like an 8 oz little cup and didn’t mention it was extra. Marg was huge which was a plus.I’m sorry but with equally as good Mexican places around with much better portion sizes or cheaper prices, we won’t be coming back. Parking: Lot behind the restaurant off of 23rd. Beware of the deep curb.
I'm always so impressed by their food, everything is stellar especially the mole and Chile en Nogada. Love the patio in the back, I could sit there for hours with just their chips and dips. So glad I live in walking distance! Vegetarian options: A few of the dishes can be made vegetarian, noted in the menu descriptions but just ask!
The chiliquilas were amazing, but hubby had street tacos, and although the flavor was amazing, it was very tough. Keep the flavor but change the meat quality!!
