T... read more We went here a couple weeks ago to visit my family. This was the first time my partner had ever met my family in person. Makes for a great relaxed atmosphere. The entrees are delicious. And the service staff were great as well always checking in on us. The owner even came over to check on our table as I saw him go to every other table in the dining room. But he didn't stick around. He made sure we were okay, he made sure we are enjoying everything, and that everything was made to our satisfaction. But he was not a nuisance.

I've noticed the portions are smaller, the catfish fritters are not the same, those aren't very good anymore. You would think the new owners would leave well enough alone and leave things the way they were but not this place. We won't be back.

I visited this restaurant several times for breakfast and dinner while in the area for work, and I was never disappointed. The food was consistently fresh and well-prepared, and even the coffee was excellent. The staff was always friendly, making each meal a delightful experience.
