Hello, I just wanted to inform you that this pub with a frog theme in a charming village now has new owners (Hart's). The food and service have significantly improved since the change. It is a enjoyable place with accommodating staff, and the pub grub is quite delicious and affordably priced. It may get a bit loud at times, but overall, it is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.
The drinks at the bar are excellent. However, the food is just average. As a mother of three, when I go out to eat, I expect the food to be better than what I can make at home. If it's worse than mine, why bother going out? Would you eat a French dip sandwich with a layer of fat instead of Au jus? I paid $9.99 for that, which is not a good deal. The owner should taste each special before selling it. The owners are lovely people, but they need to improve the quality of the food they serve.
