Yuzen Japanese Cuisine - Mercer Island

What's happening with the menus? It seems that 6 children have knocked them down, spit on them, and torn them today. They were covered in food and not very appealing, especially considering Covid and food safety. We pointed this out to the staff, suggesting they recycle them properly and put them back on the stack, but instead, they gave them to the next customer. The photo you see is the best page we could find.

I have been going to this place for years and am never disappointed. The staff is incredibly sweet and they make food like no other Japanese restaurant that I have attended. You can't eat there without trying their side salad with house-made dressing–AMAZING! This is one of my staple restaurants for dine-in or take-out. I have nothing bad to say about the Yuzen restaurant and hope they continue to share their gifts and positive atmosphere with us for many years to come. They are so welcoming, accommodating, and friendly! Such creative and delicious dishes, and staff that are equally sweet and kind like family! I always have a big smile when eating at Yuzen. We are happy to see this Yuzen location is open after the closing of the Seal Rock location due to the passing of chef Kazu. We will make the trek to Mercer Island as soon as possible!
