Cafe Lauben Des Prinoth Thomas - MERANO

A beautiful caffe with a good selection of different whirls in a fantastic location to sit magic stick, they watch the world over. also beautiful for the early evening aperitivi glass from campari splash or a prosecco before dinner.

This is a small caffe in the iconic street of meran the lauben or portici. it is so tiny that the bathroom are over an inside courtyard and not easy to find, but in this size I was happy, they had some. Although...small the caffe is cozy and beautiful and it has the most beautiful desserts. if you like that I can't get enough of strudel, you'll love this place. they go far beyond the traditional cranberry apfelstrudel, making a lot of strudel that makes it hard to choose how many and without having to eat until they burst. they have apples and plants, apricots and cherry and top (ricotta) and poppy and chestnuts and much more. they can get them with ice or vanilla sauce and they are delicious! if they don't feel that in strudel or simply not as it is this day they also have a brilliant selection or tort decate cake full of sawn, chocolate and/or fruit, which will be brilliant along some coffee, tee and/or hot chocolate. they come here for a afternoon pampering and a break from the whole city.

I was there in December and am very surprised to read the previous comments of the Italian citizens, because I felt the same at one of the waitresses. since I am not Italian, I had to speak in English to order a roulade al lamponi.(That was very good, in the did! and felt such a cold behavior of the waitress, but I thought it happened only with foreign tourists! pity! it must improve!

We enjoyed very traditional and tasty apple strands with vanilla cream and a cherry cut lukewarm in cafe sitting outside in the refreshing winter cold. Do not believe that the negative reviews, these baked were excellent and the service very friendly. not to miss when they are in meran.

We made a stop x cake snack great price in the norm x cake but a cappuccino and a coffee seemed a bit expensive
