We missed the last cable car on August 8, my birthday, after a walk to Spronser See and had to walk down to Dorf Tirol. We ended up walking 40 kilometres! Misse... read more We missed the last cable car on August 8, my birthday, after a walk to Spronser See and had to walk down to Dorf Tirol. We ended up walking 40 kilometres! Missed the last bus to Meran , we went into the Pizzeria and a fantastic young man tried to get us a taxi , all busy. Let’s have a pizza , wonderful dinosaur calzone , great pizza and super beer. Made it back to Meran on the 23.00 tourist bus , life saver. Back in 2023

We were there for three days and tried everything from pizza, fish, pasta, and dumplings, and it was all fabulous.
