I have visited Bartellas a few times now and it is a lovely local spot for us. The service is always outstanding and the atmosphere is great. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed with the food. My husband ordered the duck starter, but there was not much duck inside. I like this restaurant it has a great setting, good service, gorgeous cocktails and the separate vegan menu is really good!
Loved my first experience at bartellas and will be...often! beautiful place, great friendly service. also my little dog was very welcome and could sit with me in the restaurant, they immediately brought her a bowl of water! I have eaten with my dad (meat dinner) and mum (lacto intolerant) and my partner and me both vegan. I loved it that there is a separate vegan menu with many options, there is also a separate menu for no lacto, gluten-free as well. the food was really delicious and my partner and I were so surprised to find this place in a small Kent village! will be back and a nice trip through apple top gardens to get there too! 100% recommend go! updated from previous review on 2017-07-16
It is a very nice restaurant, much friendly staff. I was offered a separate vegan menu with several options for each cure. all the dishes were beautifully plated. my man chose the chili he said was delicious, but it was too sharp for me. I had the sweet potato corma which was very creamy and luxurious. would be a good choice for a special dinner, jubilee or Valentine's Day, which I think.
We ate in this restaurant with friends and we were all very impressed by the 5* service large selection of alcohol and a large selection of menu was eating hot enough portion size excellent presentation and very good taste we would recommend to eat this place and we will definitely return soon
Fantastic family meal! the personal was very professional, friendly, friendly and helpful she worked incredibly hard tonight and accommodated various diet regimens and allowed us to celebrate the best evening my parents 41. high time jubilee! huge thank you from all of us for the support, the perfect evening to create and the cook was excellent as well as eating! x
