Melt Grilled - Mentor

Melt is one of my favorite local restaurants and I was even more excited when I became vegan and they had so many options. They have two types of vegan cheese which they will substitute on any sandwich. They also have menu items marked to let you know which items can be made vegan. It seems like more and more they are looking for ways to be more vegan accommodating. Last week, they said they had substituted the sauce on Smokey Russian making it completely vegan, so vegans can easily order the sandwich. One of my favorite dishes when I want a lighter meal is their Awesome Noodle #1 Salad which is completely vegan. They also have an entire page of their menu which tells you the substitutions for vegan proteins which include tofu, seitan, tofu bacon, vegan chorizo, vegan meatloaf, vegan chicken, and veggie burger. Lastly, they automatically use vegan butter on all sandwiches meaning if you are vegan or not, you don't have to worry.

Amazing personal and good eating for both vegan (I myself) and non-vegan folk. very knowledgeable and friendly, clean, and great moods!

Melt Bar Grilled is a staple of NE Ohio. The menu is laid out in such a way that it is easy to find which sandwiches can be made vegan/vegetarian at a glance. They use Daiya cheese (mozzarella and cheddar) on their sandwiches. They also offer tofu wings for those not in the mood for a fancy grilled cheese. Melt also offers a substantial beer menu. I spend more time looking at that than the food menu. Always a good time. Never disappointed.

Before I even tasted the food, I was met with nothing but friendliness by the staff. when I was presented with the menu, I was stolen to see the variety she had for vegan and vegetarian foods. the waitress helped me build a vegan melt and ask and answer me. amazing personal! eating: the kindergarten combo, with vegan Mac cask chips, garlic mushrooms and vegan speck in the melt add absolutely delightful! the melt was to die and made me so full even though I had only one half! the vegan cheddar is absolutely wonderful on the melt. it was a very delicious meal! the mac and the cheese was really good hot, but as it cooled, he lost some taste and I feel like it could be cheesier. I love eating here and will definitely be back!
