Applebee's Grill - Mentor

The manager brand has messed up my order, my child was not able to enjoy her dinner because she wasn't full, I had to share my kartoffel and brokkoli with her, and the 12oz steak I received was not only two 6oz steaks in the box. the general manager and mark said I would be spending a refund, but that never happens, so I feel honestly robbed as if I was robbed. that is sad

They were short-staffed so we had to wait for a table even though there were a lot empty. Server was friendly. Food was tasty but my husband's potatoes and broccoli were cold.

Couldn't even get seated. No one at the door to greet or seat. When someone finally did come from the back, looked like she had been cleaning something. She looked at us, and said give me a minute Walked to the other side of the bar (which looked non-functional, no bartender or patrons)and proceeded to clean it. There were other clean areas to be seated at. After waiting, decided to leave. No stars!!

So dissatisfied with the food and service. The drinks tasted like sour mix, and straight coca cola in the long island. Our waitress made us feel like a burden for asking for SILVERWARE. Definitely won’t be back. The two stars are for quick food (but bad quality), and the man who seated us.

I hate to say it, but I honestly cannot say anything good about our experience here. My husband, 2 young kids, and I came on a Tuesday. We waited over an hour to be seated after the hostess told us, It will be a 30 minute wait, but probably less We were finally seated, saw our server ONCE to order drinks and food, and didn't see her again for 40 minutes. I am normally a patient person, and NEVER leave negative reviews, but this experience was insane! When we finally got our food, it was cold, and the kid's hamburger wasn't even a full patty. I literally could not be more disappointed. I understand low staffing--I own a small business--but this was beyond explanation. Negative stars.
